Kindness Begins with You

Kindness –Kindness - Margaret Martin

In the act of kindness – how kind are you being to you? It is said that we cannot give what we don’t have or have not experienced – which makes total sense. So, how kind are you being to you?

One of the top things on my list of being kind to me is thanking my body for all that it does to keep me healthy. Are you thanking your body for all that it does for you – I know that does sound weird doesn’t it? Thanking the cells of your body – which is a magnificent instrument – for keeping you healthy, are you doing that? Remember, we express gratitude for that which we enjoy in our lives and want more of in our lives. If not, you might want begin.

I got the reminder today in my call with my coach. Even though I often do write in my gratitudes how appreciative and grateful I am for a healthy body, I usually don’t focus all the way down to each cell and what it does to keep this body healthy.

Just think about what a fantastic “machine” we have – a heart that just beats right on along without us having to prod it to do so, lungs that fill with oxygen to keep us breathing without us having to remind ourselves to do so, eyes that see – and see all the beauty around us, and that is just the beginning.

The more appreciation and gratitude you have for the healthy body you own (even it has a few things that can use some improvement) the healthier your body will be – if you believe, it can be so.

I have read of people having instant healings – which I do believe can happen. I also know that sometimes the healing journey is part of our learning to better believe in the infinite possibilities. We can have what we ask for if we only believe.

Do you believe? Are you kind to you? Kindness starts from within.

And by the way, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to each of you who takes time in your life to read my words, it means a great deal to me.
