Message of Hope

Are you feeling bare or defoliated? Remember deep roots!

Back in February I did a Facebook Live about feeling bare and defoliated.

We had temps in the 30s and high winds here in Central Florida and my beautiful Bougainvillea started losing it’s leaves which prompted me to do a Facebook live video about how it sorta correlated to the way I had been feeling at the time, bare.

You may have felt that way as well, several people commented that they could identify with me.

When the cold weather and snow hit Florida, there were raging wildfires in California, election – state and national, people here in Florida and North Carolina still dealing with the aftermath of the 3 hurricanes, plus an outbreak of tornadoes in south Florida we had last summer. Two of the hurricanes left a tremendous amount of damage especially here on the west coast of Florida – there is still visible damage all around.

Yet, there is always hope!

After a good trim, warm weather and a little fertilizer (also know as self-care), my bougainvillea is flourishing again! Hopefully you are as well.

You know there will always be storms that cause you to feel bare, just remember your deep roots and you will get through the storms that come your way!

Love,
Margaret
