Self-Care Time of Year
Self-Care is always important and extremely important during this time of year – holiday season!
I encourage you to do 1 thing per day this week to take care of you. Here are some ideas:
1 – Spend 5 minutes longer drinking your coffee uninterrupted – for some people that will be a challenge for sure, perhaps that means you get up 5 minutes earlier.
2 – Take your time while eating your meals – really taste the food, its flavors.
3 – Read something fun – maybe even pour a glass of wine or make a cup of tea and read a magazine, start a new book, or just sit quietly and enjoy with your favorite music
4 – Spend time catching up with a friend – use Skype of video conferencing to share a cup of tea with them so you see each other . . . it’s lots of fun!
5 – go for a walk, get out in nature, breathe deeply and really look at your surroundings.

You may be thinking, “This woman is crazy, when do I have time to do these things?” If you want to do it, really want to do it, you will find time. Somehow we always do.
